Obituary for Frampton Lawton Sanders Jr.
Olar, SC Frampton Lawton Sanders, Jr., 75, passed away, Thursday, May 15, 2014 at his home in Olar. Born January 28, 1939, he was the son of the late Frampton Lawton and Jennie Lou Hartzog Sanders. He was a retired Employee of Milliken Corporation after 47 years. He served in the S.C. National Guard in Bamberg and was a member of Friendship Baptist Church where he was president of the Men's #4 Sunday school class and a member of the Willing Hearts Seniors club. He was a member of the Woodmen of the World and Harmony #17 Masonic Lodge. He dearly loved his family and will be deeply missed by them. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, May 18, 2014 at 3:00PM in Friendship Baptist Church, the family will receive friends from 2:00PM until time of service at the Church with Rev. Marshall Still, Rev. Farrell Ray, and Rev. Terry Gunnells officiating. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donation may be made to the MDS Foundation, 4573 South Broad St. Suite 156, Yardville, NJ 08620 or to Friendship Baptist Church, 5801 Friendship Rd, Barnwell SC 29812, Mole Funeral Home is assisting the family with these arrangements Survivors include his loving wife, Fay R. Sanders of the home, daughters; Sharon Sanders (Bruce) Thompson of Elgin, SC and Suzy Sanders Withers of Mt. Pleasant, SC., sisters, Marilyn S. Johns of Bamberg and Gloria S. Caughman of North Augusta, sister in law, Mary P. Sanders of Springfield, brother in law, Warren Taylor of Olar, grandchildren Courtney (Mark) Nuovo, Lauren Thompson, Nicholas (Erika) Withers, Malori (Will) Hay, Magen, Luke, Abby, Jacob and Ariel Withers, great grandchildren, Matthew Allen, Julie Allen, Katie Nuovo, Jasmine Withers and Aiden Withers and his special pal "Missy". He was predeceased by sisters, Alma S. Taylor and Elbonner S. Morris and brothers, K.U. Sanders, Julian Sanders and Loyal Sanders.
