Obituary for Joyce Murray Browning
Joyce Murray Browning, 76, widow of Lester Hull Browning passed away Tuesday, July 29, 2014 at her home. Joyce was born in Harlem Georgia on May 23, 1938 and was the daughter of the late Jesse L and Lucy Ruth Hardaway Murray. She was a retired employee of the Savannah River Site. She was an active member of the Barnwell United Methodist Church where she served as a lay speaker. Graveside services will be held on Friday, August 1, 2014 at 11:00 am in the Barnwell United Methodist Church Cemetery with Pastor Michael Hood officiating. The family will receive friends after the services at the home of Wayne and Brenda Browning, 129 Hagood Ave., Barnwell SC. 29812. The family suggest that in lieu of flowers that memorials be made to the Barnwell United Methodist Church Cemetery Fund. Survivors include her daughter, Jennifer Browning Zorn of Barnwell, grandchildren, Cassidy and Dawson Zorn of Barnwell, brother, J.L. (Glenda) Murray of Atlanta Ga. She was predeceased by a brother, Stanley Murray.
