Obituary for Joyce Fail Padgett
Olar, SC Mrs. Joyce Fail Padgett, 80, passed away on Friday, March 6, 2015 at her home. Joyce was born in Bamberg County on September 6, 1934. She was the daughter of the late Whittie and Juanita Hiers Fail. She was a retired employee of the Sunbeam Corp and had worked for a while at Wal Mart. She was a member of the Barnwell Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. Joyce was first married to the late Manley Padgett. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 10, 2015 at 10 am in the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses 2757 Hwy 70, Barnwell SC. Burial will follow in the Barnwell County Memorial Cemetery near the airport. The family will receive friends at Mole Funeral Home on Monday, March 9, 2015 from 6-8 pm. Survivors include her husband, Raymond Padgett of Olar SC; children, Roger (Mary Ida) Padgett of Fairfax SC, Darin Padgett of Yemassee SC, Terry (Machelle) Padgett of Barnwell SC and Debbie (Jonathan) Mitchell of Bamberg SC.; brothers Raymond (Jill) Fail of Swansea SC and sister, Connie (Jim) Gillam of Olar SC; fifteen grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. She was also predeceased by a brother, Gene Fail and a sister Eunice Morris.
