Obituary for Hazel Grubbs Sanders
Hazel Grubbs Sanders 82, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 28, 2016 at her home. Hazel was born on October 14, 1933 in Barnwell County. She was a daughter of the late Monroe "Doc" Grubbs and Ethel Still Grubbs. She was married to the late Albert Sanders and also predeceased by her two sons, Larry Albert Sanders and Joseph Anthony Sanders. She formerly worked at Milliken and Revco Pharmacy. She was a member of Mount Lebanon Christian Church. Graveside services will be held at 3:30 pm on Sunday, May 1, 2016 in the Mount Lebanon Christian Church Cemetery with Rev. Ron Franklin officiating. The Family will receive friends from 2-3 pm Sunday at Mole Funeral Home. Survivors include her daughter in law, Lucy Morris Sanders of Denmark; grandson, Jeremy (Rebecca) Sanders of Aiken; great grandchildren, Riley, Joshua, Justin, Jacob and Rachael Sanders; sisters, Beulah (Albert) Collins and Ellen G. Sanders of Barnwell; brothers, Allen and Junior Grubbs of Barnwell; aunt, Marguerite G. Black of Barnwell.
