Denmark SC paid obit Mrs. Emma Gibson Hutto Davis, 91, passed away on Thursday, November 24, 2016 at Longwood Plantation, Orangeburg SC. Mrs. Davis was born in Denmark SC on January 17, 1925. She was a daughter of the late William Earl and Blanche Atteberry Gibson. She was first married to the late Laurie D Hutto and then to the late N. Rhett Davis. She was a retired lunchroom supervisor with Denmark School District 2. She was a member of the Bethel Park United Methodist Church. A Celebration of the life of Mrs. Davis will be held at 3 pm Sunday, November 27, 2016 at Bethel Park United Methodist Church with Rev. Terry Roof officiating. The family will receive friends from 2 pm until the hour of service at the church. Memorials may be made to Bethel Park United Methodist Church, 25 Beech Ave., Denmark SC 29042 and Longwood Plantation, 1687 Longwood Rd. Orangeburg SC 29118. Survivors include her daughters, Bonnie H. Harrison of Bamberg SC, Frankie Morris and Betty Williams of Columbia SC ; son, L.D. "Bubba" (Pat) Hutto of Turnerville NC; step sons, Tony Davis of Richmond VA, Mac Davis of Blackville SC and George Davis of Blacksburg VA.; 18 grandchildren and a number of great grandchildren.
