Obituary for Betty Gray Wall Barwick
Mrs. Betty Gray Wall Barwick, 81, went to be with her Lord on Tuesday August 31,2021 in the Lexington Medical Center.
Mrs. Barwick was born in Bamberg County on May 15,1940 and was a daughter of the late Jimmy Wash and Rachael Batchler Gray. She was first married to the late Aubrey Eugene Wall and later to the late Norman Barwick. She was a former employee of The Sunbeam Corp. and E.T. Barwick Inc. She attended Seven Pines Baptist Church and now was attending Long Branch Baptist Church. Betty was a wonderful cook and leader of her family. She will sorely be missed by her family and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 4, 2021 at 11 am in the Mole Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Barnwell County Memorial Cemetery at the airport. Visitation will be held on Friday, September 3, 2021 from 6-8 pm at Mole Funeral Home.
Survivors include her sons, Kenneth Allen (Stacey) Wall of Barnwell SC and Daniel Eugene Wall of Cherokee NC; daughters, Cynthia Wall Blankenship of Allendale SC, Norma Barwick (Michael) Feagin of Snelling SC; brothers, Hughie Gray of Orangeburg SC and Jimmy W(Kim) Gray of Blackville SC.; sister, Barbara Gray Long of Summerville SC; eight grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren. She was also predeceased by daughters, Virginia Barwick and Joy Barwick Zawacki; sisters Christine Gray Young and Bonnie Gray.
