Obituary for Karen Lisa Walsh
Funeral services will be held for Karen Lisa Walsh at Hagood Ave Church on
Thursday. Visitation will be at 1pm, services will be at 2 pm.
Lisa was born and raised in Barnwell, graduating from Barnwell High School in 1974,
where she was a cheerleader and active in many school activities. She graduated from
USC-Aiken with a RN degree, she served in hospitals in Aiken, Barnwell & Atlanta
before finishing her working career in Augusta as a physical therapist. Lisa was known
for her kind heart and willingness to help people in need. While living in Augusta she was
a member of the University Hospital Community Foundation Board, she was also
assisted The Hope House & Grace House. At her passing Lisa was a member of Trinity
On The Hill Methodist Church in Augusta.
She is survived by her parents: Jerry & Virginia Walsh of Barnwell, brother: Lon Walsh
of Barnwell and special nephew Harrison Walsh of Barnwell and many special friends in
Augusta who supported her during her illness.
